Hey guys I wanted to ask you all a favour, which isnt going to cost you a penny.
Basically I've heard lots of shit about people getting iPod touches and iPhones for free through referrals, and I wanted to try one out for myself
I was seraching around for a trustworty website so that I don't have to pay for the iPhone. This is just a trial and as I have said its not going to cost you anything. All you have to do is sign up to this site with the link I will give you and then choose the free Lovefilm 2 week trial.
This is the best trial as you can cancel half way through and therefore you wont get charged. If you agree to help me, I will personnally remind you when you have to cancel your Lovefilm account so you dont have to worry about being charged
This all sounds a bit dodgy but if it works, we can all bunch together and refer each other and get loadsa shit for free.
I basically need 29 people for this to work so could anyone interested in it please get in touch with me on steam friends.
For now lets assume that its UK residents only ^^
Please help because its not going to cost you and all you require is a new email address to avoid spammage.
Hope to hear from you guys soon , I need to know how many people are willing to help so that I can set the account up and then give you guys the link

A big turn off for most people is giving credit card details with the trial. Try and find one that doesn't require that (and if possible, that includes the good ol irish).

Intriguing right, I will get to work finding one without a credit card requirement

AcTUALLY, the only part you use your credit card with, is with Love Film itself, you don't use it to sign up to the website. And once the trial finishes, or when I tell you to, you can delete your account on the website.
Simple enough ^^

Referral schemes are notoriously untrustworthy.
If the company is paying £100 for information you have to consider what (worth more than £100) are you giving them? Personal information, and in this case the information of people you know. The main reason that over 20 referrals are always needed is that it is hard to fool that many people of one social group, and hence the offer is never fulfilled, yet the information is still given - for free.
Another point is that you say the trials can be cancelled at half time. I have seen dozens of examples in the past of people who tried to cancel an offer or subscription and yet were still paying three months later. Or they were somehow hooked into a full contract without being informed of renewal.
If it is too good to be (realistically) true, then don't be scammed by it, and certainly don't do their dirty work of harvesting personal info.
I have never known of such a scheme to be called "legitimate", and by the time you add up the hours that you spent doing surveys etc and inviting people you could have just bought one if you had spent that time working!

I agree with the fact that you have a high amount of details (name and address and possibly credit card number) with a large amount of people, but I have to disagree with your second point. This trial that I have carefully chosen allows people to cancel easily:
The official cancellation guide provided by Love Film
Other people's experiences with the trial
Check these out and you will find that this trial is easy to cancel. Thanks for raising the points though ^^
